The Parish Council has opted in to a pilot scheme (at no cost) with nine other parishes whereby jobs such as sign cleaning and litter picking can be undertaken. This has been renewed for 2016.

Please do not park vehicles on the pavement, even partly. This can cause safety issues/inconvenience for pedestrians. It is an offence to cause an obstruction. Contractors have been cited by residents as the main culprits. If you have works vehicles attending your property you could ask them to park within your curtilage or on the road.

18 per cent of homes don't have adequate door locks; 14 per cent of homes don't have proper window locks and overall a third of burglaries result from insecure premises.
